Sri Lankans are people who loves to party. This has been evident from all the parties that have been organized in Sri Lanka in recent times which range from beach, costume and themes, sports and the annual New Year’s Eve parties. At most times, these parties happen in Colombo and its suburbs and today, it keeps on growing.

The main reason behind this night life / party boom is the peace that is prevailing in the country. People can go out in the night without any fear or distress and can stay till dawn without worrying about bombs or terrorist attacks. It has given every visitor more than their money’s worth and certainly they are pleased about it. The local radio stations together with event organizers have come up with some lavish parties during the past few years. It is a temptation to all the people in and out of Colombo to go and party hard. It is difficult for them to resist and say “no”.

Overall, it is a great boost for the Sri Lankan economy with many tourists also coming to the island capital to experience the night life at its best.  The war times might have created the pressure and doubts among the party poopers on security whenever they go out at night; yet now, the times have changed and to all who wants to party and have a great time , there is no better place now that Colombo , Sri Lanka; your destination for a nonstop partying, fun and joy.
