Arpico Finance Company PLC was incorporated as an associate company of Richard Peiris Group on 1st May 1951. The principal objective of the Company was to finance the vehicles of the parent company. In 1967, the founders divested their equity stake in the Company in favour of a new group of shareholders led by Alliance Finance Company Ltd.
The Company under the new ownership, whilst working in furtherance of its initial objective of providing leasing and hire purchase for vehicles has now diversified into trade finance, real estate and has been in business for over five decades.
