This year’s interns of MAS Holdings, Deutsche Bank and Dialog Axiata Summer Internship Program, will be hosting a fashion show, ‘Stride’, on the 12th of August 2012 at the Grand Ballroom, Hotel Ramada. All proceeds of the show will be directly contributed to ‘The Colours of Courage Trust’, a non-profit organization which aims to aid and empower individuals stricken with cancer to fight the illness whilst creating better access to medical facilities as well as promoting cancer research and awareness. The t
rust initiated the highly successful ‘Trail’ project in 2011 towards building a Paediatric Cancer Ward within the Jaffna General Hospital.
The show will consist of a ‘Colourful and lively’ innuendo which is linked to the Colours of Courage Trust and their message of providing hope amongst victims of cancerThe show will be Choreographed by Rozanne Diasz .It is to feature well known designers; Hameedias, Kelly Felder, Fusion 14, Kamsins, Aashki Sarees and Nishika Samaratunga, and musical numbers by popular performers such as the Ravibandu Vidyapathi dance troupe and the Elizabeth Moir School Dance Troupe, as well as the rising vocal talents of Safra Deen and Shamistha de Silva.
